Does anybody know what's going on with our the Ban on our Children's Religious Exemption to attend school? How come this is not at the forefront anymore when over 26,000 children in New York lost their right to be educated in New York with a constitutional rights violation?

We did not forget about that issue. In fact, we are working on it and making progress. When we're ready, we will release a public statement.

Really?? There hasn't been a single word in 4 1/2 years about this publicly Curtis. THE PARENTS ARE BEYOND SPENT WITH THE WAIT WITH THIS ALREADY !! Some of us even have lost our homes which puts our children at SEVERE risk in every aspect!! Do we have our own chat up for the parents and lawyers for our group yet? If not, can we get one up? I myself have called and emailed the lawyers that are on the panel like Mary and Kevin several times and they never returned my call. THE REST OF US NEW YORKERS ARE OWNED BIG FROM STATE GOVERNMENT FOR THIS CRIME DONE AGAINST OUR CHILDREN AND THE PARENTS!! The parents have financial losses for AT LEAST 4 1/2 YEARS AND COUNTING and our children- who many of them are severely disabled with Autism Spectrum Disorder faced irreparable educational harm, which translates to irreparable long term financial harm when the child(ren) can't get educationally on track to get their grades to get jobs thereafter -isnt that right? It shouldn't be when your ready-THE WAIT HAS TO BE OVER NOW BECAUSE WE CANT FINANCIALLY HOLD ON ANYMORE!! How can the parents be privvy to "the progress"? We know there has been a lot of fires per for our group to put out with Senators constantly trying to slip new laws in to further attempt to abolish our children's rights but this really needs to get addressed immediately. If the other lawyers that took the case previously were unsuccessful why is it that our group hasn't resorted to hiring a private firm to do a class action lawsuit? Like..the statue of limitations are not long which is why we need to move on this now!

I understand your frustration. Myself and our group fought very hard to preserve the religious exemption in New York State. We came very close to winning and in fact, we did win, but some unethical tactics were used to undermine our efforts.

Several of those in our group were also impacted by the loss of the religious exemption here in New York.

Please trust me when I say that we are working on it and we are making progress. As soon as we are able to, we will make a public announcement.
