The NY Group has just defeated all of the bad vaccine bills that we were opposing! All of us were sitting on pins and needles this past week, wondering whether some member of the NY State Assembly or Senate would try to sneak in one of the bad bills that we have been fighting against. That happened last year with the Database Bill. It caught us by surprise, and we only had a few days to respond. I came up with the idea of holding a 3-day rally in front of the office of NY State Senator Gustavo Rivera, who was also the Chairman of the Health Committee. To our great satisfaction, it worked! The Database Bill was killed last year.
We now have people who are checking the legislative calendar daily. Each day that went by, and none of the bad bills were on the calendar, we breathed a sigh of relief. The last day of the legislative session was supposed to be Thursday, June 6th.
Unfortunately, things did not go as planned. The Assembly did adjourn, but the Senate did not. We were frantically texting each other back and forth over this. We were crossing our fingers hoping that someone did not try something sneaky. We were waiting for an answer until Friday evening. We did not get final confirmation until this morning, Saturday, June 8th, when John Gilmore sent out his action alert declaring that the Senate had adjourned the night before! John, also announced that none of the bad vaccine bills were even brought up for a vote! We won!
One of the interesting things about this victory is that we managed to save New York State from what would have been a nightmarish situation, but the majority of New Yorkers have no idea what we had done and no idea who we were! This is of course ok, we are motivated to do what is necessary to help us all.
Well, our New York group has been spearheading rallies in the boroughs of New York City and the rallies in Albany, NY. We had people showing up at the offices of these legislators. We had people calling their offices, sending them emails and commenting on their social media. Fortunately, our combined efforts have paid off, not just this year, but for the past 5 years! They caught us off guard when they appealed the religious exemptions for students in schools back in 2019. Since then, we have organized and mobilized our efforts.
It is necessary to extend a big thanks to Mary Holland, CEO of Children’s Health Defense, who played a critical role in helping us to defeat the Minor Consent Bill. A big thanks also go to John Gilmore, Michael Kane, Kozy, Bonnie, Rita, Carla, Jay, the Perez Sisters, and countless others in New York City and across NY State.
New Yorkers are safe for now until next year. There is a huge battle ahead. Those of you who appreciate our efforts and would like to help, please show your support by donating to:

For those who still have doubts, we have again demonstrated what a small group of dedicated people can do, despite powerful lobbyists trying to influence NY Legislators.
THE POWER IS WITH THE PEOPLE!

I am extremely grateful for your dedication and hard work. It takes a village, that said, a small group of people can change the world. One step at a time.
I was appalled to see the religious exemptions removed over a few measly measles cases. Vitamin A for treatment, not life threatening.
Mary Holland is incredible as are All of you!

Your work is Critical, and yes, most are unaware.
That does not take away from your intent or success.
Thank you so much again,
With extreme gratitude,
