When I was given the location of the gathering with Robert F. Kennedy Jr., I was shocked! I was expecting someone's mansion or some major institution. Instead, it was a small Jamaican restaurant in Jamaica Queens. I was amazed that Mr. Kennedy was able to take time out of his very hectic schedule to come to a local restaurant in Jamaica Queens. This took place on Saturday, July 22, 2023.
The restaurant is called: Cookerz Blend. It is a small, but very nice restaurant. The food was absolutely delicious!
I saw several people who I knew. Some of those who were invited were not told that Mr. Kennedy was going to be arriving. When I told them, there was excitement in their eyes and huge smiles on their faces! They were stunned by the fact that they would actually be able to meet RFK Jr.
When Mr. Kennedy approached the restaurant from outside, you could hear people shouting: "There he is!" It seemed almost otherworldly for a Kennedy to be walking into this neighborhood and into this restaurant. He always has an aura of positive energy about him! He came in with a big smile and shook hands with me and others who were there.
RFK Jr did not have the restaurant cleared out allowing only invited guests. Instead, the ordinary, regular customers were allowed to be there and greet him! There was a genuine sense of warmth and admiration for Mr. Kennedy. The African-American community still has a deep appreciation and respect for the Kennedy family for all the things they have done for our people.
His uncle, President John F Kennedy, sent National Guard troops to defend the right of African-American students to have equal educational opportunities. His uncle, Ted Kennedy was the one who exposed and put an end to the notorious Tuskegee syphilis experiment.
It was Robert F Kennedy Jr. who produced two documentary films which exposed illegal experiments that were done on African people in America and around the world.
Mr. Kennedy's arrival in Jamaica Queens reminded me of his coming to Harlem in 2019 to speak at the forum I organized on vaccines at the Riverside Church. It was also a historic occasion for a Kennedy to come to Harlem to speak!
This time, Robert F. Kennedy Junior did not give a speech. He was there to listen to the people! He listened to many people share their heartfelt gratitude for all that he has been doing despite the many vicious and unfounded attacks on him.
He listened to firefighters who were fired from their jobs because they chose not to take the COVID shots. Anyone who has done any research on all of the injuries and deaths linked to the COVID injections can understand why many people did not want to take it.
Mr. Kennedy also listened to one of the owners of the restaurant who expressed his gratitude to Mr. Kennedy for telling the truth even when that truth is not popular in certain powerful circles. He also gave his personal thanks to the Kennedy family for its commitment to the African-American community.
Mr. Kennedy not only listened, he had his people also write down the contact information of those who were seeking his help.
I found it also noteworthy that Mr. Kennedy took a table right in the middle of all of us. He did not separate himself someplace distant from the people. He was right there with the rest of us!
One young man, by the name of Jay, who is 11 years old, actually took time to do a sketch of Mr. Kennedy. I watched as he was very focused on creating the drawing. Mr. Kennedy took a picture with Jay, his mother Carla, and the sketch that he started.
It was a wonderful, exciting, and historic day that reaffirmed Robert F Kennedy Jr.'s commitment to the people.

Thanks for sharing this post with us all. It’s refreshing to see a man like RFKJr. stand up and tell the truth without fear of the consequences, as others have done, including yourself.
I hope this courage of the few will instill courage in others until they are the many.
