Children’s Health Defense (CHD) NY - 2nd Annual Holiday Dinner 2024

On January 3, Children’s Health Defense (CHD) NY had its second annual holiday dinner at the world-famous Carmine's Italian restaurant on the Upper West Side in Manhattan. 

The dinner was a tribute to all of our hard-working volunteers who are consistently on the front lines fighting for the medical freedom of New Yorkers and the country. We have rallies all over the city of New York and we do it in the summer heat as well as in the cold of winter.  We all understand that whatever happens in New York tends to spread across the country. Bad bills that become law in New York State are most likely going to also be instituted in states across America. This is why we work so hard!

Our attorneys fight vigorously for New Yorkers and ultimately the country. At this dinner we had some of our superstar attorneys: Bobbie Anne Cox, Tricia Lindsay and Sujata GIbson.

We hand out flyers and talk to people making them aware of critical issues such as the attempt to create quarantine camps in the state of New York as well as bad bills designed to take away parental rights and medical privacy. We also travel to Albany, New York and speak with legislators.

CHD NY has been the most successful of any state in preventing bad bills from becoming a law. One of the reasons for our success is that we do believe in working hard and playing hard. I organized this and other events so that we could have some time to celebrate our activism as well as prepare for the challenges ahead in 2024.

The food was absolutely delicious! We had the famous Carmine's steak as well as shrimp parmesan, shrimp scampi, calamari, stuffed artichoke and a variety of other dishes! It was all phenomenal and everyone kept talking about how much they enjoyed the food. More importantly, we all enjoyed each other's company. We had great conversations, laughs and a lot of fun!
